Hado-Bar Farm Foundation is established to further support the art of herding and its community.
Those who have been to the farm, in any capacity, have seen the love and dedication that Judi
(and many greatly appreciated friends)
have poured into the stock & farm
from sunup to sundown (and beyond) EVERY day.
The Hado-Bar Farm foundation, a 501C(3) entity, exists to maintain and
enhance what has been built and
work towards the shared vision of what
Hado-Bar Farm can and will be
in the future and provide a means of
financial contributions that are so greatly needed.
This is a 24/7/365 work in progress, brought to life by family, friends
and many others
that desire to have the greatest facility of it's kind
in the Ohio Valley and beyond.
Bear with us as we grow. Much more to follow...
...was 'born' in August 1989, when Tom, Judi,
and Eric Bigham moved from their 6-acre suburban home in Elyria, Ohio to 18.6 acres of 'God's country' in Nova, Ohio.
Named in honor of Judi's first Australian Shepherd, (ASCA) CH. HADO-BAR JILL, CD, STD-d (ducks), HADO-BAR FARM has become a premier all-breed stockdog training and event facility, hosting AHBA, AKC, and ASCA events, as well as Introduction To Herding clinics and Specialty events.
HADO-BAR FARM FOUNDATION maintains a 'working' flock of 65-70 sheep (Cheviot, Barbados Blackbelly, Katahdin crossbreds) which have been specifically bred and carefully selected to withstand the physical and psychological stress of almost non-stop training and trialing.
