Darius McKoy

Darius McKoy is a first-generation farmer. With his wife, he co-owns 12:03 A.M. Farm, a 38-acre farm in Faison, North Carolina. The farm has been in operation for 75 years.

Originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, Darius recently retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service with seven combat tours.

He has grown his first-hand experience with farming through the Soldiers to Agriculture internship at North Carolina State University and through volunteering at the Martin Family Farm in Mt. Olive, North Carolina. He is currently enrolled in the Center of Environmental Farming System’s Sustainable Vegetable Program.
